Zach Lloyd

Standing for:

Blaenau Gwent

My key issues are:

  • Social Deprivation

  • Drug and alcohol abuse

  • Unemployment in young people

Candidate profile:

The reason I want to be part of the Welsh Youth Parliament is because I feel I can make a difference to lives of young people in wales. Moreoever, I think this would give a good stepping stone in becoming more deeply involved in polotics and put me in a position to help people across the UK and the world.

I plan on consulting with young people in my area through the schools. I believe that I am well respected as most people know me for playing rugby at district level and I have a good social network across Blaenau Gwent.

I believe that people shold vote for because I will stand up for what is right. I believe I can ask the difficult questions that others may be scared to ask. I think people should vote for me because I am very open minded and very accepting of most opinions.

I believe that I would make a good Welsh Youth Parliment because I am headboy of Ysgol Gyfun Tredegar. To gain this position I had to display good leadership skills, the ability to give speeches to large crows, the ability to deal with interview situations effectivley and good charisma.
