Richard Jones

Standing for:

My key issues are:

  • Youth engagement in local issues

  • Youth participation in sport

  • Substance abuse among young people

Candidate profile:

I wish to become a Welsh Youth Parliament member because I want to make a real difference. I feel young people are underrepresented massively in North Wales and have been forgotten about for far too long.

I will ensure your voices are heard by using social media to discuss issues online or arrange meetings for young people to ask me about any concerns. I will listen to everyone and I will make sure you are all represented. Your voice will be heard in parliament.

I believe I am ideal for the role of Welsh Youth Parliament member for Aberconwy because I have experience in working with young people as I have been a member of the Conwy Youth Council for over a year where we discuss key issues among young people and embark on ambitious projects.

I have also represented the Conwy Youth Council on the North Wales Board where we combine our interests and work together to achieve the best for young people. I care about ensuring young people take part in sport and take an interest in local issues affecting them.

If you want a knowledgeable, down to earth candidate to represent you then I'm your man.
