Candidate profile:

My Name is Kieran Jordan Adams. I am a 17 year old Male, with a keen interest in politics, and a strong opinion. I am running for the Welsh Youth Parliament, to stand up for what I believe in, and to represent your voices. No matter your age, your opinion matters. I believe that I have the ability to make change for the better. I believe that I can be a voice that can champion the opinions of those who may otherwise never be heard, and because I believe that together we can make a difference to benefit our lives and those around us. Over the last few weeks, I have heard many stories involving Uniforms in schools, and have been horrified by them. It is my belief that students should maintain a good standard of uniform.

However isolating an individual because their trousers aren't stretchy enough or because their ankles are showing is ridiculous and can not prevail. If elected I promise to focus on ensuring no student is unjustly treated due to their appearance. It is important that we express who we are, and that who we are isn't surpressed.

Thank you.
