Candidate profile:

I've had troubles in my life. Been scared and alone. Confidence is not something that comes naturally to me.

Things knock you back, but giving up isn’t my nature which is why my family give me the title of ‘irrepressible'.

Luckily, high school is what taught me that humans aren't alien. Taught me that a single difference is not an abyss between two people.

That working together is how we solve the greatest of challenges. I have studied Aikido Yuishinkai since I was six years old and live by its motto: ‘I have faith in life, and life responds in kind’.

In addition to Aikido, I play the flute, piano, sing and learn first-aid with St. John Ambulance. Although I am a member of our school choir I still remember how terrified I was when, in year three, I sang 'Dai Gi Bach' at the school Eistedfodd.

I also have a passion for writing and for entomology. So, why vote for me? The main reason I nominated myself is because I feel drawn to this. I want the challenges. I want to see this nation grow and our youth be a part of that growth.

Vote for me; I care.
