Candidate profile:

Hi! I’m Tilley and I’d like you to vote for me. I have been a member of Carmarthenshire Youth Council for four years and I attend other groups including Voices from Care. I pledge to do my upmost to bring issues such as children’s homes, educational resources and period poverty to the attention of parliament.

Furthermore, I want to ensure that the voices and the rights of children and young people are acknowledged and respected in Wales.

Additionally, having had many years of experience within care, I would love the opportunity to help change the system for the better. I am currently studying Public Services in Coleg Sir Gar in Llanelli. I feel there has been a shortage of some educational resources and money is too thinly spread across a lot of different departments. With the help of your votes, I hope to get our schools and colleges better facilities to improve our education. I promise that if I am chosen to represent Llanelli in the youth parliament, I will try my hardest to fight for my three issues.
