Chloe Marie Tapper

Standing for:

My key issues are:

  • Homelessness & lack of affordable housing

  • Educational funding & attainment

  • Mental Health

Candidate profile:

I am a passionate, committed individual who believes in an inclusive society that provides opportunities for all and cares for the most vulnerable. I strongly oppose discrimination of any form and I will work tirelessly to eradicate homelessness, increase the availability of affordable housing and ensure a high standard of education is accessible to all, in order for everyone to achieve their full potential and contribute positively to society.

I am a former school council representative and I currently participate in local democracy events which has increased my confidence to speak in public forums and raised my political awareness.  I have also created a blog dedicated to Lush Cosmetics in support of their ethical values, which include animal testing and human rights.

I will consult with Monmouthshire's young people using a combination of leaflet drops, holding regular meetings in Monmouthshire secondary schools and village halls and raising issues directly with relevant local authorities and agencies. I will also utilise social media to communicate promptly and effectively and to share the work I undertake as a Youth Parliament member.

I would be truly grateful for your support to enable me to stand up for the issues that matter to us all.
