Candidate profile:

It might be said that I am in a privileged position as a young Welsh woman on the brink of adulthood. But unfortunately, the same can't be said for all of my peers. Why do I want to be a Welsh Youth Parliament member? Because I want to be the strong voice for all those who need support, representation and a little bit of help to get where they want to go, wherever that may be.

I will consult with young people by holding surgeries in the local schools of my constituency, in addition to establishing a social media page as a forum for young people to share ideas, concerns and issues. I will be a forthright advocate for young people as I believe I am determined, caring as well as tenacious and I can promise you that nobody will fight harder than me to improve the lives of Welsh youth.

I have been the best speaker in the national round of the ESU's public speaking competition as well as having experience in debating current affairs.  I have a good first-hand understanding of the problems facing young people growing up in Wales today.
