Candidate profile:

I would like to be a Welsh Youth Parliament member because I have always taken an interest and put my input into local and current affairs and I believe I can make a difference.

I have done many things in the past such as being the vice chairperson for the Young Carers Youth Forum, I was head girl in primary and I represented young carers by doing a speech to the staff and children on how to help them better in school. I also join in with debates we have in our community about local issues.

I would consult with young people in my area by holding a meeting in which we will all come together and voice our concerns and then compile a list, I’d also ask those in young carers and in my drama class.

I believe people should vote for me because I’ve always tried my very best to help others and get their voices heard but only on a small scale. Now I wish to do it on a slightly larger scale and by doing so, helping more people to get their voices heard.
