Candidate profile:

My name is Isabel, I'm in Year 10 and live in Caerphilly. I'm positive, extroverted and love talking to people and hearing their opinion. I am open-minded on issues and think it's essential to put myself in other people's shoes.

I'd like to be a member of the Welsh Youth Parliament because I've always had in interest in politics.

My role in the Student Council makes me good at speaking to even those I'm not acquainted with and promising them to do my best to improve the issue. I'll ensure young people's voices in Caerphilly are heard by using social media to get a wide range of voices and secondly, doing campaigns and events to get pupils involved engagingly.

I like debating and attend Debate Club, and I'm confident talking to all people. I'm comfortable with public speaking and would relish the opportunity of speaking for young people in Wales. I believe people should vote for me because I'm from an area that is neither rich nor poor and all classes of society reside in, therefore I'd speak for everyone no matter who they are. Overall, I'd love to be a member because sincerely, I care.
