Candidate profile:

I am a Welsh Bangladeshi citizen who is keen to be a Welsh Youth Parliament Member and strive to accomplish many successes while doing so. I am dedicated and I have always wanted to be something bigger than a normal student. If young people don’t feel comfortable sharing and they need a voice, I want to help them.

I will apply social media to my campaign by conducting polls too see what people think about an issue. I will also reach out to young people to ask about their concerns and raise awareness of the Parliament. I am an approachable person and confident speaking to peers I might not know. I am very active on social media, so I can reply to someone's concerns quickly. In school I engage with group discussions and debates about lots of current affairs. In addition to this, I have a friendly bond with my teachers who encouraged me to take part in this role.

An issue I have been interested in is bikes on the public roads. I don’t think that the roads in Cardiff are safe enough for young people riding their bikes to school and I would like to combat this issue.
