Candidate profile:

Hello my name is Lily, I am a fluent Welsh speaker and feel as if the voice of the youth in Wales is not being listened to currently. It is critical that young people have a voice in decision making - we are the future of Wales. I have experience in debating and public speaking, and feel as if this is the perfect opportunity for me to stand up and represent the young people of my community and country. I feel strongly about the Welsh language, education, poverty and the environment. I support tax free menstrual products, increased recycling and political education in schools. More needs to be done to tackle inequalities of age, gender, race, religion and sexuality to create a more understanding and excepting Wales. People should vote for me because I will work tirelessly for these things.

I will ensure the youth of my area are heard by visiting schools, do door to door research and visit youth clubs. I would love to be a member of the Welsh Youth Parliament and represent young people in Cardiff South and Penarth, to create a more prosperous Wales, and a Wales that is for everyone.
