Candidate profile:

As a 17 year old studying Government & Politics in Coleg Gwent's Crosskeys Campus, while living in Newport, I see the need for a greater representation for the younger generations. I feel that as a generation, we are being overlooked by many politicians, even being ignored in some cases and the Welsh Youth Parliament is a great step forward in addressing this issue.

I would use Social Media as my primary way of interacting with the electorate, along with being available to meet or speak at a convenient time. I believe that the bus fare for students should be free. I have first-hand experience of seeing students unable to attend classes due to the inability to afford their fare. I don't believe anyone should be unable to attend education. Having grown up in Newport, I've seen the decline of the city centre, with a lack of activities aimed at the younger generations following the decline.

The future of energy is definitely one of a renewable source and I believe we should be promoting it now, instead of delaying our advancement into the future. I would be honoured to be your representative in the future of Welsh Youth parliament. Cymru am Byth!
