Standing for:

Cardiff South and Penarth

My key issues are:

  • Equality and discrmination

  • Bullying and it’s effects

  • Social life

Candidate profile:

I want to be part of Parliament because I want young people's voices to be heard. I will consult all my peers by doing surveys and having weekly meetings in school where young people can come along and raise any issues that they are facing.

I should be chosen as I have significant experience of working effectively in a team, being a mentor for younger children and being a team player both in and out of school. I am concerned about the needs of children and young people and believe that as children are the future they need someone who can represent them with listening skills, debating and leadership skills.

I am currently involved in school campaigns such as charity committee and Project Spectrum (the school equalities group). In view of my above experience, I want to empower teenagers both locally and nationally. I am learning to speak Welsh and am committed to raising the profile of the language in school and believe this will assist me in developing my skills further. I should be chosen for this role. Thank you for giving me this opportunity.
