Erin Griffiths

Standing for:

Merthyr Tydfil and Rhymney

My key issues are:

  • Plastic contaminating the oceans

  • Homelessness

  • Poverty

Candidate profile:

I would like to be elected because I feel that I can carry the voices that can solve and address Wales' biggest problems. I'll write to the organizers of different youth groups in the area explaining what the Youth Parliament is and what we are aiming to achieve. I'll also create a website and an email address for people to contact me on and put forward their problems. People should vote for me because I'm approachable, reliable and trustworthy.

I believe it's important to follow up words with actions. I'll listen to people's problems and find solutions because I care. When I'm faced with a problem I look at other people's perspectives and choose the best possible solution and I believe that is a very important skill to have as a Welsh Youth Parliament member.

The three issues that mean the most to me is

* Homelessness

* Plastic contaminating the ocean

* Poverty

I believe we should all respect the environment and help people who don't deserve to live on the streets without money. Please consider me for a representative for Merthyr Tydfil and Rhymney; by working together we can make Wales a better place.
