Candidate profile:

In a time of great change nationally and internationally, it is now more important than ever that the voices of young people are heard, and that these voices lead to effective decision making in Wales, the UK and further afield. I want to add my voice to the debate on key issues that are affecting young people in my area, such as the loss of youth and leisure services as well as the consequences that Brexit will have on our future choices. Consulting with young people, through school council consultations, online surveys and social media, I will ensure that I will listen to the views of my constituents and represent their voices clearly and passionately.

I am an active member of the local community, particularly through sport, where I am a member of RCT performance swim. Access to sports services and facilities is one of my key priorities, to improve the health of young people and tackle the obesity epidemic. The cuts to these services are resulting in increased youth crime, mental health issues and youth unemployment and I will use my voice to campaign against these cuts and argue for a positive future for young people in Wales .
