Candidate profile:

My name is Luned-Mair, I am 16 years old, and I am a proud queer woman. I am Asexual Panromantic, which is a unfortunately unrepresented orientation, and I hope to increase the awareness and information surrounding the LGBTQ+ community.

I am proud Welsh speaker, and I try to take part in as many events surrounding this as I can, such as the Eisteddfod and Tafwyl. I play multiple musical instruments, and am part of a brass band, and I enjoy competing often with the band.

During my free time I have enjoyed work experience with Jill Evans MEP, Cllr. Elyn Stephens and Cllr. Joshua Davies. I have also taken part in a workshop with Child Commissioner Sally Holland's, and in a workshop with My Life My Say to discuss the future of Brexit for young people. I am honoured to have been able to take part in these things. I have recently started volunteering in my local community centre, helping to run a club for children age 8-11. I hope to improve the lives of others in any way, and I hope that this opportunity can aid me in this.
