My key issues are:
Improved teenagers’ mental health services
Equality amongst genders, sexualities, races
Lowering voting age to 16
I want to be part of the Welsh Youth Parliament because I have so many ideas and feel doing this will help me get mine and others’ voices heard. I want to make Wales a better place and hope that becoming a member will allow me to do that.
I will be sure to take on views of others, meanwhile improving my own. I will also question my peers and make sure they know that their opinions matter. Prior to this, I questioned my peers on my key issues, and they completely agreed.
People should vote for me because I want make life better for everyone. I want people to feel they can have a say - to be able to change their future.
Furthermore, I have a good skill set for this position. I’m conscientious, open-minded and determined. Moreover, I’m creative, a good listener and a confident speaker.
I have experienced sexism and mental health issues, therefore I’m extremely passionate, relatable and personally affected by the issues.
Overall I have alot to say but no one to listen. I hope doing this I can be heard, provide input and better the life of teenagers today and in the future.
