Candidate profile:

Hi, my name is Amy. I am a year 12 student studying chemistry, psychology, sociology and history. I wish to be your Welsh Youth Parliament Representative so I can help make your voice heard and so we can make a difference in our communities.

To ensure that young people in our area are fully represented, I will regularly seek your views and make effective use of social media.

In my work with the Children’s Commissioner for Wales, Powys Youth Forum and as a town councillor I have demonstrated my commitment and passion for fighting for young people and their rights and feel I am ideally qualified to continue this work in The Welsh Youth Parliament.

Moreover, I am a good listener, hard working and an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to organise. The three top issues that have been raised with me are:

• Wellbeing and Mental Health Services

• Rural transport and Connectivity

• Rural skills and Employment issues

I want to hear more from you about the issues that matter to you, so that I can fight for you more effectively. Together we can make a difference! Twitter: @Amy_Argent_ Email:
