Candidate profile:

Hello, my name is Phoebe Harris and I would be honoured to be a part of the Welsh Youth Parliament.

I live with my remarkable family which I owe everything to.

I am currently studying my GCSEs at Bassaleg school while being highly interested in political science.

I would like to say that I am ecstatic that the Welsh youth parliament has decided to be assembled. This encourages young people to become more involved in political agendas. Young people need to know that their voices are being heard, not silenced.

Media is a huge attraction for young people today; I would make media accounts accessible, allowing everyone to share their opinion. I would lead assembles in school to educate my peers on political issues.

I think that I should be voted for because I believe that the youth of Wales deserve to be heard and I would be honoured to represent their opinion. I have strong political views and beliefs that I want to be heard. I am also a member of the army cadets and believe I am good at communicating with others and solving problems in tricky situations.

Thank you for allowing me the chance to be heard.
