Meagan Pearsall

Standing for:

Blaenau Gwent

My key issues are:

  • Sanitary products in school toilets

  • Programmes to prevent Holiday Hunger

  • More LGBTQ+ visibilty in schools

Candidate profile:

My name is Meagan Pearsall and I am a 15 year old pupil in Blaenau Gwent. I want to stand for Youth Parliament because I want to provide a voice for all LGBTQ+ young people in Wales and make sure we all feel included and visible in our schools and communities. I am currently the Deputy Head Girl at my school, a school council member and I have been a part of the Army Cadet Force for over three years, which I feel has given me confidence, teamwork skills and negotiation skills which are needed for this position.

Vote for me to represent you, and Blaenau Gwent as a whole, because I am passionate about my own policies, but I will also listen to all concerns and suggestions from the young people in my constituency. I will work with all young people and consult with you over social media to ensure that you are represented and your voice is heard. A vote for me is a vote for change, fairness and respect.
