Daniel James Dain-Dodd

Standing for:

Vale of Clwyd

My key issues are:

  • More outdoor education in secondary schools

  • Work experience for Secondary Schools

  • Public speaking to be part of the curriculum

Candidate profile:

I am one of five brothers all adopted by two fathers. I am bilingual, being fluent in English and Welsh.

I have a great deal of empathy with people from different backgrounds as I was adopted when I was four years old and couldn’t speak at all, but my adoptive parents helped me to be who I am today, so I completely understand and respect people from different backgrounds.

I have a great deal of experience of expressing my opinion and voicing my concerns as I have joined the Youth Debating club as part of Denbigh Rotary Club and have participated in Youth Debating Area 1180 with the Great Britain and Ireland Rotary International Club. I also have 3 years’ experience of being a member of the School Council.

So, you have to remember, I am Daniel James Dain-Dodd, very experienced and with a range of various experiences, who would discuss and debate matters which affect our lives whilst also keeping in mind the lives of young people.

Our voice first, we are the next generation and we are therefore important and I would make it my challenge to express YOUR VOICE!
