Candidate profile:

Nestled between Snowdonia and the Menai Straits, we are lucky to live in a thriving bilingual culture but our voices are rarely heard beyond the mountains.

If I serve in the Welsh Youth Parliament, I will ensure young people from Arfon are heard across Wales.

I have started to do this by asking people in my school and in clubs around Arfon for their opinions and find out what they want. I plan to set up a stall in a local supermarket and arts centre and ask teens what they would like to change or improve in our community.

People should vote for me because I am a confident speaker with good ideas.

I am kind and approachable and will listen to anyone.

One of my passions is politics and I try to keep well informed about what is going on in the world. Already, in my school, I have successfully campaigned for girls to be allowed to play "boys" sports such as rugby, if they want to, with the boys in PE.

I believe, no matter what gender, culture or religion you are, you should be able to do, wear and achieve whatever you want to do. We want equality.
