Rosie Hanna Bradshaw
My key issues are:
Providing support for disabled children
Eliminating mental health stigma
Encouraging girls in stem subjects
S’mae. My name is Rosie Bradshaw and I would love to represent you as a member of the Youth Parliament.
I am able to express the issues that the youth of our country would like to improve without overshadowing their voices with my own opinions.
As a member of the Youth Parliament, I would represent you and effectively convey your thoughts to help better our community. I have access to other young people through a youth group and the pupils at my school who’s ideas I could put forward.
Having an impact on my education is important to me, so I am a Science and Language Ambassador, allowing me to influence decisions made in my school life.
Also, I am a member of my year council, representing others. Soon, I will be taking part in the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award, developing my teamwork and communicating skills.
The roles that I have in school give me the opportunity to expand my prowess as a leader and I feel these are the necessary skills for a member of the Youth Parliament. I hope you will take my candidacy into consideration. Diolch.
