Ziven Oprava

Standing for:

Cardiff West

My key issues are:

  • Air pollution

  • Healthy eating

  • Littering

Candidate profile:

Hello, my name is Ziven Oprava, a thirteen-year-old student at a Welsh medium secondary school. I believe I would be a good representative for the youth parliament as I am aware of the issues facing children and have a passion to better the living conditions in Cardiff.

I would work well with others as I could suggest ideas and promote the ideas of others. I am confident I would be an excellent representative for children as I live in the city and thus have a first-hand grasp on the problems facing us, moreover I have experience representing others as I am on the school council.

Of the aforementioned problems these are the three I believe to be of critical importance: air pollution, healthy eating and littering. Not only do these affect our city and environment but also the citizens of Wales. It would be naïve to think eliminating these issues would be quick or easy.

Despite this I believe there is hope, and with enough effort from the parliament and people we can conquer these problems and have a healthy, clean capital and country. Thank you, and I hope for your vote.
