Candidate profile:

My name is Ben Jones,13 from Llangollen. I've always aspired to be a representative in the welsh parliament as I feel it's a place where important decisions are made which will shape Wales's future.

I take part in numerous extra-curriculum such as Football for Rhosddu United, rugby for Wrexham and drama productions with the school-this allows me to spend time with my friends and discuss our future, what’s important to them, and what I can be able to discuss with the Senedd if i get elected.

Personally, I think I would be a useful and productive member of the youth parliament as I am fully fluent in English and the welsh language-therefore I am able to communicate in both languages to different people about Wales's bright future.

I do have experience with national competitions such as the Eisteddfod which has inspired me to learn about the Welsh language and also teach it to my English friends. I play for a rugby and football team- I do this because sport in my opinion is a very important aspect in our lives and we should do as much as possible to keep fit.

I hope you consider, Diolch yn fawr Iawn!
