My key issues are:

  • Children as a result of Brexit

  • The Welsh language within the community

  • Children’s rights

Candidate profile:

I want to represent the young people of Arfon at the Youth Parliament.

I feel that it's time for young people to have the opportunity to voice their opinions. The great changes that are on their way in the coming months and years will be a big turning point for us as the young people and youth of Wales.

I have the key skills to be a member of the youth parliament. I can talk to people and also listen to different perspectives by weighing up every debate and making a rational and informed decision.

I am very interested in the world of politics, and, if successful, I would have a great opportunity to begin to understand the processes and the procedure. In addition, it is an opportunity for me to share the information that I receive with young people in my area, and an opportunity for them to report back and voice their opinions.

I would consult young people by visiting Arfon schools and holding meetings, and I would also use social networks such as Twitter and Instagram. I have valuable experiences of being part of the school council and eco group at Ysgol Tryfan and Ysgol Y Garnedd.  I am willing to listen and act for the young people of my area.

I look forward to the challenge!
