Candidate profile:

Politics has always been a key element in my life, whether around the dinner table with my family or in debates in the classroom.

Being a member of the Youth Parliament would give me the opportunity to be a voice for the young people of the area and Wales and to act in a way that will lead to real improvements in people's lives.

I feel that the voice of young people in a period of tremendous political change is being completely ignored.  It is vital that we use every possible method for influencing our politicians.

I would take advantage of current methods of communication and use social networks to gather the views and ideas of young people and to voice their opinions. In terms of my values, I believe strongly in fairness, equality, respect and justice.

I would fight for the rights of each individual, and preach the message that we should celebrate the fact that we’re all different.

In the past, I have been a prominent member of the school council and I have the necessary communication skills in both Welsh and English to share my vision with others. It would therefore be a privilege to have an opportunity to make a difference to everyone.
