Candidate profile:

My name is Guilhem Lloyd and I'm a year 10 pupil attending Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Bro Myrddin.

I want to be a member of the youth parliament for one specific reason. Children or young people form a large percentage of the population of Wales, yet we do not have a voice in the issues that affect us in our everyday lives, such as our education and the facilities that we need. I want to be a member of the Welsh Youth Parliament to be a voice for the young people and pupils of my area in order to improve our lifestyle and the facilities that are available, as well as establish better ones for our future.

As a member of the parliament, I would prioritise the voice of the young people of my area, by undertaking questionnaires at school, town or online to see what the young people of my area need or want to improve.

I think that people should vote for me because I am a very active and determined person, and I would do everything that I can to ensure that the voice of young people is heard and acted upon across my area and across the whole of Wales.
