  • Renewable energy development

  • Welsh medium education

Candidate profile:

As a young person without a vote, I have experienced the frustration of not having my voice heard. This is an opportunity to express my opinion and ensuring that the voices of thousands of young people in the Ceredigion constituency count. Above all, I would like to make a difference for others and raise awareness of the issues that we face in rural Wales. We can be deprived no longer.

I would ensure that I get to know about all of the issues that are of concern for young people via social networks such as Facebook and Snapchat. I would also welcome e-mails, letters and telephone calls. Speaking face-to-face is as good as anything when discussing hot topics, so I’d be happy to meet you in order to get a full understanding of the situation before pressing ahead with the fight for your case.

I am active, conscientious and enthusiastic to succeed as a member of parliament. I have experience of expressing my opinion and presenting ideas through being a member of the Urdd youth forum. I look at the world in an open way and I’m willing to listen to other perspectives. I’m a diplomatic person that can discuss rationally, respect others and argue for what I believe is right.
