National Assembly for Wales

The National Assembly for Wales is made up of 60 Assembly Members from across Wales. They are elected by the people of Wales to represent them and their communities, make laws for Wales, agree Welsh taxes and to make sure the Welsh Government is doing its job properly.

 
 

Assembly Members

There are 60 Assembly Members at the National Assembly for Wales. They are elected by the people of Wales to represent them and their communities, make laws for Wales and to ensure the Welsh Government is doing its job properly.

 
 

The Assembly Commission

The Assembly Commission is a group of five Assembly Members from the main political parties whose job it is to ensure that Members have all the support - like staff and accommodation - they need to be as effective as possible in representing the people of Wales.
